Call for Volunteers

Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive first impression for every attendee as they arrive at the conference. Assist with check-in, badge distribution, and event information while ensuring all participants feel supported, valued, and excited for their conference experience.

Support attendees and presenters with troubleshooting, logistical questions, and general conference assistance to help event activities run smoothly. Ideally, this area will include one volunteer focused on attendee support and another dedicated to addressing presenter inquiries and presentation-related needs.Solutions volunteers will also act as: Whova App - Support attendees in navigating and using the conference app, including schedules, networking features, and session information. Help troubleshoot basic app-related questions to enhance the attendee experience.Concierge - Serve as a local resource for attendees by sharing recommendations on restaurants, attractions, and things to do in Nebraska from a community perspective. Assist with information related to pre-planned excursions and help attendees make the most of their time during the conference.

Assist with the setup and tear down of the bookstore booth, manage inventory, and help attendees browse and purchase conference-related books and materials. Volunteers will also help promote the association’s online store and related resources throughout the conference.

Support poster presenters and attendees by helping coordinate setup, timing, and traffic flow during poster sessions. Ensure presenters have the materials and assistance they need for a successful experience.

Engage with attendees to share information about membership benefits, opportunities, and resources. Assist with membership inquiries, renewals, and new member sign-ups.

Help create a supportive and engaging wellness experience by encouraging conference attendees to participate in scheduled wellness activities and promoting available wellness opportunities throughout the event. Volunteers will assist with room setup and tear down, provide guidance and answer attendee questions, attend wellness sessions as needed, and capture photos during activities and events.

Assist with distributing conference updates, announcements, and important information to attendees and volunteers while helping ensure clear, timely communication across conference activities and channels. This role may also involve attending sessions, taking photos, and interviewing participants, presenters, exhibitors, and special guests to help capture and share the conference experience.

Support exhibitors by assisting with booth needs, answering logistical questions, and fostering positive interactions between exhibitors and attendees. Volunteers will help encourage attendees to visit exhibitor booths and participate in planned games, activities, and engagement opportunities designed to promote interaction throughout the exhibit hall.

Assist with preparations leading up to the conference, including materials organization, signage setup, and attendee support. Help ensure all event components are ready for a successful launch.
